The Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Metropolitan Campus is located in Cupey, San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was built in San Juan due to the large success of the Polytechnic Institute of Puerto Rico. It started its first semester in 1982. It is part of the Inter American University of Puerto Rico System. 
Requirements
    1. 1. Option A - Submit proof (transcript of credits) of having completed the graduation requirements of an accredited high school with an index or minimum average of 2.00 or its equivalent. Submit the results obtained in the University Admission and Assessment Tests (PEAU) offered by the College Board.
    1. 2. Option B - Submit proof (transcript of credits) of having completed the graduation requirements of an accredited high school with an index or minimum average of 3.00 or its equivalent. This admission option does not require the presentation of results in the University Admission and Assessment Tests (PEAU) offered by the College Board.
  1. File Admission Application (free of charge)
  2. Present the official results of the University Admission Evaluation Test (" College Board ") or the " SAT "
  3. Present proof of graduation from an accredited high school (official transcript of credits) with a minimum index of 2.0 or its equivalent.
  4. Present the results obtained in the Aptitude and English Achievement Tests offered by the College Board. Students whose first language is English may take the Scholastic Aptitude Test, while Spanish-speaking students may take the Academic Aptitude Test.
  5. Obtain a minimum income index of 800. This is calculated in terms of the exam results and the high school index.
  6. Submit an updated immunization certificate if the student is under 21 years of age, with the exception of students interested in studying distance from other countries.
