Requirements

We welcome students of all abilities, interests, and backgrounds. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong academic scholarship and active participation in extracurricular activities and community service projects.

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited high or preparatory school or hold an equivalency diploma.

To be considered for admission, first-year applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Completed application (online at www.ccsu.edu/apply)
  • Non-refundable $50 application fee
  • Official high school transcript; class rank (if applicable)
  • SAT I or ACT scores sent either by the high school or The College Board
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Personal statement

An admissions counselor will review your completed application and send a decision letter within approximately two weeks.

Deadlines

First-year students should apply by May 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester. International students should apply by April 1 (fall) and November 1 (spring). The University reserves the right to discontinue the processing of applications once our class accommodations have been met.
