Our criteria for admission are based on the university's desire and commitment for each student to find success in their academic endeavors at Simpson University.

First-Time Freshman

• 3.0 minimum unweighted High School GPA
• 910 SAT score (Math and Critical Reading combined) OR 17 ACT composite score
• Must have graduated from high school or earned an equivalent (GED)

Prospective Science and Nursing Majors

• Recommended to have Algebra II, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• 3.2 minimum unweighted high school GPA
• 560 Math SAT
• 20 Math ACT

Transfers

• 2.5 college GPA

How Classes Transfer

All courses must have a “C” (2.0) or higher. Each general education course is evaluated for breadth of knowledge and transferred in accordingly by the office of the Registrar.
